Due to the continued situation with the COVID-19 and the Government of Saskatchewan鈥檚 direction that mass gathering restrictions apply to summer events and festivals, the Western Development Museum - Yorkton alongside Tourism Yorkton has made the decision once again to cancel the 鈥楪ood Old Fashioned Canada Day Picnic鈥� event.
They will be celebrating Canada Day virtually again this year while following public health orders and recommendations from the y Government of Saskatchewan and the Chief Medical Health Officer.
Announcements about the details of the Virtual Canada Day Celebration contests, giveaways, scavenger hunts, and activity kits are expected soon.
