Yorkton has a new Special Constable 鈥� Community Safety Officer.
Dani Anderson was approved to the position by Yorkton Council at its regular meeting Monday.
Council had heard at the Sept 14 regular Council Meeting, Anderson was hired as a Bylaw Enforcement Officer to fill the vacant Community Safety Officer position until she was able to receive her Special Constable appointment from the Ministry of Corrections and Policing
Anderson has since received her Special Constable appointment.
Anderson will join Special Constable Galbraith as the City of Yorkton鈥檚 Community Safety Officers.
After Council Monday Anderson was formally sworn into her new position.
