Joe and Leona Kaczur camped at Clear Lake, MB for a week.They visited with daughter Lynn and Stan Bialas, Derek and Heather who livevery close to the park atOnanole, MB.
The Nagy household was busy with birthdays as Cassandra celebrated #10 on the 3rd, Brayden had birthday #12 on the 5th and Marty celebrated on the 8th (we ran out of fingers and toes so couldn't count them).
James and Vivian Talbot camped at Moose Bay, Crooked Lake last weekend with all their family:Dayna and Patrick Markwart, Colton & Jayme from Regina, Darla and Stacey Bailey, Carter, Sarah & Liam from Hazlet and Shane and Terra Talbot, Riley & Ashalee. Three of the grandchildren, Colton, Carter & Liam,celebrated birthdays on Saturday. Great-grandparents, John and Judy Talbot,from Sumner Place in Esterhazy joined them forbirthday cake and BBQ supper.
July 12th saw an "old" mother hen and chicks appear on Audrey Nielsen's lawn to help her celebrate her birthday.She treated at coffee row on July 13 with free coffee and birthday cake for all in attendance.John Wilson and Louis Szalai attended the 100th anniversary celebrations in Ituna. They participated in the parade and threshing demonstrations, as well as, showing off some of their stationery engines. John grew up not far from Ituna so was able to renew a few acquaintances and recall somememories of days gone past.
Guests camping in Doug Morley's yard last weekend were neighbors from down home,Elroy and Bonnie Thomson of Chesley, Ontario. Doug lives in the former Ogren home on Joseph St.
Sympathy of the community is extended to the Skene family on the sudden passing of Ina Jane Skene of Sherbrooke Nursing Home in Saskatoon at the young age of 37. Ina had been receiving dialysis 3 times a week for a couple of years and was at the hospital for dialysis on Friday, July 9 when she quietly passed away. Sympathy to her parents, Ed and Dorothy Skene, brother Lance and sister, Linda Ungar as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark Simle and daughter, Rachel Wagner and children Brooklyn and Abby visited Len and Gladys this past weekend. Darlene Hofer of Sidney, Montana visited with aunt, Gladys and Len Simle, and attended the monthly community pot-luck supper on Wednesday.Gladys and Darlene alsomotored to Whitewood to visit with cousin Martha Burge.
The monthly community pot-luck supper was held on July 14 with 28 people in attendance including several children.Jessie Stokes of Bangor Morris Lodge returnedhome for an evening of visiting. Congratulations to Kenny Allan who won the door prize of chocolates and Darlene Hofer who won the 50/50.
Peter and Audrey Nielsen helped mom, Cis Nielsen, move from her home in Melville to the Morris Lodge in Bangor on July 14. Community wishes of good health and happiness go out to this former Dubucite.

Remember to attend the community worship service on July 25 at 10 a.m. in the Dubuc Worship Centre. Garland Thiele and friends will be leading us in word and song.
