Luncheon planned

Laketown Leaders February meeting is Thur., Feb. 10 at 10:00 a.m. in the morning. The February Monthly Noon Pot Luck Luncheon is Mon., Feb. 21 at the Stirling Room. This event is open to all.

Laketown Leaders February meeting is Thur., Feb. 10 at 10:00 a.m. in the morning. The February Monthly Noon Pot Luck Luncheon is Mon., Feb. 21 at the Stirling Room. This event is open to all.

Anyone with a February Birthday is welcome to join the monthly party at 3:00 p.m. on Feb. 28 for coffee, tea and cake at the Stirling Room. Unless otherwise noted (小蓝视频 bumped for a rental) this will occur on the last Monday if each month at 3:00 p.m.

Saltcoats United Church worship is at 9:00 a.m. Sunday mornings. The choir practice is on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m.

Saltcoats Library extends Thank Yous to everyone who supported the Robbie Burns tea with your presence, your great baking and your help. It is much appreciated. The winner of the book door prize was Phyllis McCallum with Nina Cross taking home the shortbread door prize.

Ever wondered "How to share your faith without losing friends?" There will be a weekend workshop on Fri., Feb. 11 at 7:00 p.m. and Sat., Feb. 12, 9:30 to 3:30 p.m. to explain this. The leader is Bishop Greg Kerr-Wilson of the Diocese of Qu Appelle. After a break from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. there will follow question and discussion time. The whole event is held at Saltcoats Stirling Room with the registration of $15.00 each. The noon meal is bag lunch with soup and beverage provided. Saturday supper and refreshment breaks are included in the registration. Contact Revs Kim and Susan Salo at 744-2480 and Edith Maddaford at 744-2216 for pre registration.

This is an open ecumenical event and open to all.

The Vintage Snow Machine Race at Saltcoats has extended interest, and Carnduff, SK held their race this past Saturday. Local Saltcoats entrants placed well. Harry Smith's machine, driven by Scott Griffith won 1st place and Daren Tangedal took 2nd place, 3rd was Kevin Dryer of USA and 4th was #67 who thinks he would have been 1st if he didn't stop for a bolt. The powder puff winner was Kennedy Kerr.
