The Yorkton Business Improvement District has come to the support of the Yorkto0n Exhibition Association in its effort to raise money to retrofit the grandstand.
Noting that the presentation was on behalf of all YBID members, the organization鈥檚 Executive Director Donna Brothwell, announced a $10,000 donation to the 鈥楽ave the Grandstand Fund鈥� at a press conference Friday.
鈥淲e are proud to be able to donate this money on behalf of all YBID members,鈥� she said, adding it was felt 鈥渢his project fits with our mandate to support local events in the district that will enhance our shopping experience by bringing in shoppers and visitors.鈥�
