Melville Detachment has received multiple calls regarding someone claiming to be from the Society of Justice and Family.
The caller is telling victims that there have been fraudulent charges to their Social Insurance Cards and requesting them to pay
fines in excess of $4000.
The Caller asks how much money is in their account and then proceeds to instruct Victims to go purchase Google pay cards and provide the numbers on the back of the cards.
RCMP are requesting the Public to refrain from providing personal information or money to unknown callers and report
these types of calls to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (CAFC).
