January 17Donelda Brass, age 46, from Key First Nation was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance Contrary to Section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act as well as Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code. Brass was remanded into custody due to a warrant for her arrest and will appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on January 17, 2011.(Arrested on January 16th, 2011 at her residence on Key F.N.)
Warrants have been issued for the arrest of the following individuals who have been charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance Contrary to Section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act as well as Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to section 354 (1) (a) of the Criminal Code:Dean Elder, age 50, from Yorkton, SaskatchewanBrent Woloschuk, age 43, from Melville, SaskatchewanHenry Ironstand, age 78, from Valley River First Nation, ManitobaA total of 23 individuals have been charged with trafficking prescription pills and one individualhas been charged with trafficking cocaine during the six-month police investigation.This matter is still under investigation by Yorkton District General Investigation Section, Kamsack Detachment, Yorkton Municipal Detachment, and Safer Communities and Neighborhood (S.C.A.N).
