Drug searches held in Preeceville

On September 11, 2010 at approximately 6:30 pm, members from the Canora and Sturgis RCMP detachments executed two search warrants in the town of Preeceville. One warrant was executed on 3rd street SE and the other was executed on 1st Avenue NE.

On September 11, 2010 at approximately 6:30 pm, members from the Canora and Sturgis RCMP detachments executed two search warrants in the town of Preeceville. One warrant was executed on 3rd street SE and the other was executed on 1st Avenue NE. The searches were under the authority of the Controlled Drug and Substances Act and resulted in approximately 2 1/2 pounds of marihuana and an undisclosed amount of money 小蓝视频 seized during the execution of the warrants.

The following individuals have been charged with the following offences:Timothy Pollock, aged 56 from Preeceville - Possession for the Purpose of TraffickingAllan Yasinsky, aged 49 from Preeceville - Possession for the purpose of Trafficking, Trafficking in a controlled substance, Possession of Property obtained by crime and breach of an undertaking.Pollock will be appearing in court for his first appearance on November 4 in Canora at 9:30 am. Yasinsky has been remanded in custody and will be appearing in court on October 7th in Canora at 9:30 am for his first appearance.

Canora & Sturgis RCMP Detachments were also assisted by the Yorkton Provincial GIS section.

Missing man's body foundAt approximately 3:00 pm on September 11, 2010, Punnichy RCMP were called to a location on the Gordon's First Nation where the body of a deceased male had been discovered. RCMP Major Crime Unit 小蓝视频, Saskatoon RCMP Forensic Identification Unit, Yorkton General Investigations Section, Regina Police Dog Section and the Office of the Chief Coroner were called upon to assist Punnichy Detachment with the investigation. At that time investigators were unable to confirm the exact identity of the male that was discovered.

On September 14th, 2010, the deceased was positively identified as Winston Clark Gordon of the Gordon First Nation in the Punnichy District. Gordon was the subject of a missing person broadcast on September 10th. The investigation has confirmed that the deceased died of natural causes. RCMP wish to thank members of the media for broadcasting this message and the public that were actively looking for Mr. Gordon.
