Heartfelt sympathy from Dubuc and community goes to Eva Huber and her family on the passing of husband, father and grandfather, Brian Huber of Stockholm at the age of 59. Eva helps to look after the Prairie Manor senior housing complex in Dubuc and has become part of our "community circle".

On Saturday, Dec 11, the monthly community potluck was attended by 43 "Dubucites" who all enjoyed a scrumptious Christmas meal with Turkey, meatballs, cabbage rolls and all the trimmings. The dessert table was quite a spectacle with everything imaginable just tempting the waistline Raffle draws & Door Prizes added to the evening's excitement with every household taking home at least one package. Margie and Ed Oldham of Regina stayed at their cottage over the weekend and were able to attend. Margie played the piano for a Christmas Carol sing-a-long that was enjoyed by everyone who joined in the singing and even those who "just listened". Cheryl and Leon Exner, formerly of Grayson, who were home visiting from Strathmore, AB for a few days, accompanied her mom, Mary Nagy, and were able to renew friendships at the potluck. Glenda Bell fetched her mom, Jessie Stokes, from Morris Lodge at Bangor. Jessie always enjoys a visit back home to Dubuc.

Bev Moore of Williams Lake, BC and her sister, Sharon, from Melville were Monday visitors with aunt, Nina and Earle Moller. Bev is married to Jimmy Moore, who is the son of Nina's sister, Anne and Torger Moore.

Sincere Sympathy from Dubuc friends and former neighbours is extended to Trina and Lloyd Nagy of Esterhazy and their children, Marty, Raquel, Shauna, Tyler and their families on the loss of mother and grandmother, Vicky Rieger, formerly of Grayson who passed away at the age of 97. Several local people attended the prayers and funeral service held in Grayson as Vicky was well known in Dubuc and will be fondly remembered.
