Stapp said the atmosphere is one where he can talk directly to the fans about what lies behind the songs.

"It's showing fans something I've never done before," he said. " I believe there's a lot of freedom with the way I can deliver the songs."

Stapp said he believes the approach "may allow them (fans) to have a better understanding of the material I want to take time to explain the songs, to develop a rapport It's going to be a very personal situation I'm finally in a place in my life for that Those who are interested can come to the show and share that."

"It gives me a chance as an artist to be more creative live," he said. "We get to be artistic every night

"I want to create a new song, live, right in front of the fans," he said, adding that experience should be one which helps to reconnect with fans in a very special way, " as well as working on songs for a new solo album."
