Birthday celebrations

Joey Duchek was home from his studies at Moose Jaw for the Thanksgiving holiday. His parents, Larry & Bridgette Duchek of Brandon, and his sisters, Michelle and family, also of Brandon and Amanda and family of Whitewood and Grandpa Rudy Duchek were weekend visitors with Joey, Julie, Paisley and Keaton.

Jim Arthurs was home from Alberta visiting with his sister, Melba & Ron McAlpine, relatives and friends in the area.

Mary Ramstead had her daughter, Ivy and Barry Bauldry of Prince Albert, and her granddaughter, Linda, of Calgary visiting for Thanksgiving. Ivy also accompanied her mom to the community pot luck held Wed. evening Oct 13.

Newcomers Lloyd and Janet Sievers attended their first community pot luck supper since moving into town this summer and were welcomed by those in attendance.

Charlie Johnson and Pat Shotensky of Kamsack were overnight visitors with Audrey and Peter Nielsen. They took in the Potashville singles dance on Saturday evening. Sunday, they were all able to visit with Mel and Carol Anderson of Kipling, Vera Madison of Benito, and Norman and Debbie Johnson and family when Ervin Johnson hosted a bountiful Thanksgiving supper.

Vivian and Jim Talbot had Darla, Carter, Sarah and Liam Bailey of Hazlet and Dayna and Jayme Markwart of Regina as guests for Thanksgiving. Terra, Riley and Ashalee Talbot also visited with everyone.

Joan Wilson travelled to Balcarres on Oct. 6th where she met her sisters, Pat Todd and Betty Lou Earl-Love.

After visiting with their Mom, Cis Earl, in the Balcarres Integrated Care Center, they motored to Regina. The reason for the trip was to celebrate Pat's 65th birthday. Joan and Pat stayed with Betty & her husband Hab.

They were joined by their 4th sister, Janet Earl, for birthday cake and champagne, which Pat had brought back from her birthday from a trip to Las Vegas courtesy of her son Kelly and wife Kathy Todd of Calgary.
