Congratulations to Stacey and Cory Exner of Herbert, Sask, on the birth of their second child, a son Grady Chase. He was born on September 10, 2010 at the Cypress Regional Hospital, in Swift Current. Grady weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces. A little baby brother for Kelsey. Proud grandparents are Art & Carol Exner of Melville, Heather Weber of Yorkton, SK, Randy Weber & Kathy Reid of Melville. Proud great-grandparent is Shirley Aaro & Jim of Saskatoon, SK.
Congratulations to Art & Carol Exner who celebrated their 40th Anniversary on October 10, 2010.On September 22, the Blue Bonnet Club had their appreciation day. A very nice crowd came out to enjoy the delicious supper. After supper at 7:00, they started to play their bingo as usual. At the half way mark, a raffle was made. Once it was over, they continued on with their bingo. After bingo, lunch was served with the leftovers from supper which was followed by cake, served with strawberries and ice cream. Everybody really enjoyed themselves, and went home happy.
Some farmers did not get in a crop and some farmers did. For the ones that did, those farmers should thank the good Lord, for having such a beautiful harvest time which allowed them to finish their harvest, after having such a wet summer.
