Anniversary celebrated

Family and friends gathered at the Calder Community Hall to help celebrate Wayne and Tammy Antony's 25th Wedding Anniversary. Virginia and Evelyn Antony were busy making us a wonderful supper. Carol Antony sang a few songs after supper for us.

Family and friends gathered at the Calder Community Hall to help celebrate Wayne and Tammy Antony's 25th Wedding Anniversary. Virginia and Evelyn Antony were busy making us a wonderful supper. Carol Antony sang a few songs after supper for us. Doug McKenzie supplied the music for us in the evening. Congratulations and many more years together.

The Calder Library is busy with the summer reading program. The kids are really enjoying themselves.The Calder Seniors held their whist drive on July 17, 2010 at the Calder Good Neighbors Centre. The following are the winners of the whist drive: 1st Ella Becker, 2nd Arthur Martinuk, 3rd Marlene Miller, and low Elmer Eftoda.

The Village of Calder is busy removing some of the old buildings on Main Street.

Julia Mclean and Mary Sobkow are home after visiting with family in Banff, Alberta. They returned with Logan and Eden, Julia's grandchildren.

Marie and April Rohatensky along with Marie's sister in law Vicky Smandych motored to Bismarck, North Dakota. Hope you guys had a great time shopping.

Margie Mankish and Virginia Wandy and family had their sister Shirley and brother in law Erik Hasen, and nephew Dale Austin, and niece Laurie and Regan Bodnarchuk and family from Fort McMurry, Alberta visiting for a short time. Our sympathy to you and your families on the recent passing of your sister Wilma.

Maryann Frice and family of Dryden, Ontario are out visiting with her mother, Margie Mankish and family.Caitlyn Fattiecher was out visiting with her cousins, Kathleen and Amanda Antony for a few days.

Mildred Danylko had her daughters Shannon, Donna and Madison out visiting for awhile.

Get well wishes to Kenny Kahut, who is a patient at the Roblin Hospital.
