The Kamsack Family Resource Centre is operated through SIGN with a partnership agreement with the Sunrise Health Region. Its focus is on promoting and teaching healthy childhood development and enhancing and further developing positive parenting skills.

In an interview, Holodniuk says, “We are currently in a board room at the Kamsack Public Health office since November of 2023, and it’s not near big enough or conducive to what we need.”

The organization will be moving at April’s end to 434 First Street in Kamsack.

“We are moving because we need bigger space, which we previously had in our former location, before it shut down. This board room we are working out of is not ideal for our needs and what we offer. This building popped up so now we are excited to move.”

Holodniuk says their centre will be operating and preparing for the move at the same time, 小蓝视频 open as best they can for the next two weeks. At the end of April SIGN Kamsack Family Resource Centre will be closed for one week, then reopen in their new location for families to explore.

“We will have new equipment for them, lots of light, lots of space so plenty to look forward to. Jay’s is helping move us so that is a big help.”
