Kamsack RCMP deal with assault-related complaint at house party

RCMP also dealt with a person that wasn't supposed to be contact with his former partner, as well as duties over the Canada Day weekend.

KAMSACK — An assault-related complaint required Kamsack RCMP to attend a house party.

When members arrived, they were rushed by party-goers. Members held their composure and dealt with the situation.

Later in the evening, the mother of the accused attended the detachment to pick up her daughter without 小蓝视频 asked to, as the daughter would be released in the morning once sober.

Members noticed the mother’s pickup truck in front of the detachment with no one else in the vehicle. The female was clearly intoxicated and when asked by members if she drove, she said yes. When given a breath demand by members, she declined to provide a breath sample and was consequently charged with refusal, which holds the same weight as a charge of driving while impaired.

 

Hide and seek

Kamsack RCMP responded to a call of a male who was not supposed to be in contact with his former partner. Upon arriving, the male ran into the darkness before members could apprehend him. Shortly after, members conducted patrols looking for the male and they located him hiding under a pickup truck in an alleyway.

 

Canada Day traffic

Over the long weekend, Kamsack RCMP with SERM gave out nine warnings and two tickets, some were for speeding as well as disobeying a stop sign. Kamsack RCMP also conducted boat patrols where they stopped seven boats and gave out a warning for having liquor on one of the boats.

 

Stats

Kamsack RCMP responded to 90 calls from June 26 to July 3. This included: six disturbing the peace calls, 10 mischief calls, three calls related to uttering threats and four theft calls.
