At the Godfrey Dean Art Gallery: Landscape & Memory, June 5-24, 2016. Over 50 people, ages 7 to 96, entered our 2016 local artists exhibition! Nail art and sculpture, tattoo designs and portraits, two Eiffel Towers and 3 fabric artists. Plus drawings by amazing young people that let us know the future of art and creativity is in good hands. Volunteers Needed! The Canadian Red Cross is seeking volunteers for the Friendly Visiting Program for Seniors. Volunteers will be trained to provide weekly visits or phone calls to socially or geographically isolated seniors in Yorkton and surrounding area. One hour every other week is all that is required to provide social interaction with a senior聽 and peace of mind for family and caregivers.
