The Canora Keen Age Centre was the site of a barbecue on May 29 to celebrate May and June birthdays.
Musical entertainment was provided by Tom Thibault, who sang and played guitar.
“Everyone enjoyed it,” said Robin Rubletz, Keen Age president. “Tom has performed for us before and we were happy to have him back.”
Rubletz expressed appreciation for all who attended the barbecue, and said it took a number of volunteers to make it all happen.
“Bernice Rakochy, Donna Cornelius and Genevieve Borys were busy in the kitchen,” reported Rubletz. “Leo Rakochy and I were responsible for barbecuing the burgers. Edith Kotzer worked behind the scenes in preparing for the event.”
