Nick Zawislak still enjoys bringing in the crop each year, even after celebrating his 97th birthday on Sept. 9. He continues to provide much appreciated help during harvest time on his son Terry鈥檚 farm near Amsterdam. Zawislak enjoys many of the improvements in harvest equipment since he first started farming in 1949. One of today鈥檚 state-of-the-art combines can harvest 100 acres in a good day, several times what threshing crews used to do with threshing machines.Brandi Zavislak
