The Canora group did suffer flight delays on the way to England which led to travellers feeling tired, but it was made up for with the spectacular experiences during their stay in the United Kingdom.

CANORA - The Canora 2024 Euro Trip club members kicked off their journey through Europe by flying to the British capital, London. The group did suffer flight delays on the way to England, which led to travellers feeling tired, but it was made up for with the spectacular experiences during their stay in the United Kingdom. After a near eight-hour flight from Toronto, travellers landed in London on Thursday, March 28, just in time for dinner at a British pub located in the city’s downtown area where they met their tour guide Simon along with the 30 travellers from Oregon.

The next day, Canora travellers took in the sites of London. Students and teachers saw multiple iconic landmarks across the city including Big Ben, the London Eye, and Westminster Abbey.

One of the highlights during the time in London was witnessing the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. Students and teachers were also taught how to navigate the hustle and bustle of the famous London Tube system. Due to it 小蓝视频 Good Friday, some businesses were closed and the tour guide made it clear that one a normal day the streets would be packed with people heading to work, especially in the morning and afternoon rush hours. For dinner, students were treated to curry, which is actually a delicacy in London due to the high numbers of people of Indian descent who call the city home. The Canora and Oregon travellers ended up spending their nights in London at a hotel not that far away from London’s Heathrow Airport. London was considered a hit for travellers and the trip continued on March 30, with a train ride to Paris, France.
