After qualifying for provincials in Estevan the previous weekend, the Canora Composite School senior mixed curling team travelled to Swift Current and swept the best teams in Saskatchewan to take the provincial championship, held March 11 and 12. 鈥淲e won Gold! We beat Avonlea, Leoville, Tisdale and then Watrous in the final to bring the trophy home for a year,鈥� said Simone Homeniuk, teacher representative.
