CANORA - Since Mayor Mike Kwas was unavailable on graduation day, Councillor Denise Leslie represented the Town of Canora and brought greetings to the Canora Composite School Class of 2023.
“It is a great honour 小蓝视频 here with you today. On behalf of the Mayor and Town Council of Canora, I would like to welcome all visitors for the Canora Composite School 2023 Graduation,” said Leslie.
“We hope you will have the time to explore some of the latest changes in our community; including the new Canora Aquatic Centre, new signage, and local businesses.
“To the graduates, we congratulate you on the completion of this phase of your lives, and wish you all the best in your future endeavours whether that includes further education, getting a job, or taking a year off to explore all the possibilities that await you.”
Leslie went on to challenge the graduates to “be proud of what you have accomplished. Hold your head high, put your shoulders back, and move forward into an exciting world full of opportunities.
“Enjoy this day of activities with your family and friends, stay safe, and good luck and continued success in your future.”
Leslie left the graduates with this closing thought, “Remember your roots and make sure you come back to Canora.”
