The Canadian Charolais Youth Association held its annual Conference and Show in Yorkton last week. The national event brought youth involved in the Charolais cattle association from Alberta to Ontario to the city for four days of activities and events. The show included artwork, photography, team grooming, judging classes, team selling, and wrapping up the event Saturday with conformation classes, judged by Trent Leibrecht, formally of Yorkton. A banquet was held at the event’s end to present the awards including the 2015 Honoree Award to Carey and LeeAnn Weinbender of Canora (see related agriculture story "Weinbenders honoured by CCYA" ).
