The Grain Millers Harvest Showdown held in Yorkton last week included an extensive student education component sponsored by Mosaic.
Through the program, students from around the region visited the show and were taken to a number of stations where they learned about what crops are grown locally, what foods they go into, and what livestock are raised.
The program included a hands-on component allowing students to see and touch cows, horses, pigs, sheep, goats and chicken.
